Belly fat diet is a special diet that you should follow if you are looking to lose belly fat without going through strenuous exercises or physical activities. It can also be considered as a lower belly fat diet. In this post I am going to give you the things that you should not do in a belly fat diet, you will learn how to proceed and the foods to avoid

You should not think that a fat belly diet is a crash diet which will get rid of belly fat in few days. In our fast paced society, we are used at getting things done fast to the point that we’ve become addicted to speed. We want things to get done today, if not yesterday, and we tend to approach losing weight or losing belly fat the same way, and wonder at the end why we are not successful.

Why Belly Fat Diet is Not a Crash Diet?

Any diet to lose belly fat can not be a crash diet. A crash diet is when individuals reduce their daily food allowance drastically; altering their eating habits suddenly and gradually putting pressure on their metabolism and causing it to go into starvation mode. This method appears to work in the first few weeks of the crash diet, but it tends to back fire at the end, when the food cravings become irresistible and overwhelming pushing dieters to drop the diet and go back to old bad habits of eating.

Because of the starvation mode that the crash diet put the body in, when individuals stop dieting the first thing the body does is storing fat with vengeance preparing for the next starvation period. This is why crash diet dieters end up with a bigger belly fat than what they started with.

To conclude this segment I would say that crash diets are about an intense reduction of the amount of food you eat for a short period of time, and you end up gaining all the weight you lost back as fast as you lost it.

This type of diet can be dangerous and don’t educate you about the proper diet that would benefit you for the rest of your life.  The best belly fat diet is the one that you learn from it a lasting education on what to eat to burn belly fat, and how to control what you eat and how much of it.

Foods to Avoid to Lose Belly Fat

While doing my research to develop the best belly fat diet I went through many belly fat diets and programs. They don’t all mention everything I’m stating here but they all agreed on the foods to avoid for losing belly fat.

As an advice you should not get rid of all bad foods at once, do it gradually and slowly. We all know that it is not easy to eliminate all the bad foods at once. Don’t be hard on yourself if you slip once or twice. The secret to success is to improve your eating habits gradually. It took you time to develop belly fat and it’s going to take time to melt it away.

  • You should eliminate from your diet and at once all hydrogenated oils; this includes vegetable oils like corn oil, and canola oil. Food manufacturers use them practically in everything, so check the label before purchasing. Stay away from deep fried foods too.
  • Refined wheat or white flour and white flour byproducts; including bagels, donuts, breakfast cereals, cookies, bread, cakes, pancakes, pasta and so on…
  • One can of beer contains about 100 empty calories that convert into a loose belly fat
  • Eliminate white sugar and artificial sweeteners altogether, and milk and milk byproducts.
  • Eliminate Soft drinks regular or diets

  • Personally I hate the word ‘diet’ it really suggests the ideal of restrictive eating. Alternatively I like to think people open their mind to a whole new world of exciting yet highly nutritious food options. If you provide a food option to someone that they like, is easy to prepare and is healthy as hell, chances are that won’t see at as part of a ‘diet’ and they will welcome it into their regular diet without a second thought.

    This is the real challenge, finding great tasting recipes and foods which are also healthy to replace unhealthy food choices and promoting the health benefits!
